When Christ returns, all things are made new. He brings a new heaven and a new earth. At the time of the end, He opens the seals of the books. We read the Bible with new understanding, according to His authority. He brings a new revelation.
When shall these things be? How will Christ return? If the books are sealed, how can we know what the prophecies mean? When Christ came the first time, he came in an unexpected way. He brought a new understanding of the Law, and fulfilled prophecy in ways that were revolutionary at the time. Will He do the same thing on His return? How will the prophecies of Christ’s return be fulfilled?
Here we will look at how at His first coming, Christ fulfilled prophecies in sometimes unexpected, yet deeply satisfying ways. Then we will see how the prophecies of His return have also been fulfilled in profound and meaningful ways. Most important, we will consider the fruits, for by them we will be able to determine whether this truly is the return of Christ. In addition, we will look at some of the prophecies of the latter days, and see how they are being fulfilled. Finally, we will revisit our basic principles to see how they are affirmed in the light of Christ’s return.
